Drunk Passenger Causes Forced Plane Landing
There are incorrect reports that a Virgin Australia airplane was hijacked... This is what actually took place:
About an hour before landing, Virgin Australia pilots were alarmed by banging on the cockpit door. The Boeing 737 had departed from Brisbane Australia, and was destined for Denpasar International Airport in Bali. A drunk passenger had become unruly and out of control.
The 28 year old, confirmed to be Matt Christopher from Australia, had to be handcuffed by the plane crew. Originally thought to be a possible hijacking, the pilots alerted air-traffic control.
"There was a drunk passenger, intoxicated and aggressively behaved. He was trying to enter the cockpit, banging the door but he did not enter the cockpit," Heru Sudjatmiko, an airport manager for Virgin Australia, stated to Metro TV.
The plane landed safely without any injuries to the 137 passengers or 7 crew members onboard. After the landing, Christopher was placed under arrest for causing a disturbance, says Reuters.
Virgin Australia released a statement saying, "At no point was the safety of the aircraft in question."
Really?! Hmmm...
If that was the case, they wouldn't have reported it as a hijacking originally! And a hijacking is a hijacking because it compromises the passengers lives and the aircraft. So to say that didn't think at any point that the passengers were endangered was obviously a lie. But hey, thats the airport for ya! Nothing is what they say it is... got to keep up appearances and pretend everything is under control.
Ugh! Airports make me so angry! Smh... If they lie about that, what else will they lie about??? Anyways...
Also, how does the situation allow for the pilots to think it's a hijacking? I mean they had time to report! All they had to do was ask someone on that little phone that we always see the attendant talking to the pilot on... just that simple. No more misunderstanding. I mean word about the supposed hijacking had even spread to the media. But the pilot couldn't find out if it was a highjacking or not on their own plane... with only a door or phone to separate them from finding out the truth.

How Do You Feel About Women Who Don't Shave Their Pits And/Or Bikini Lines???
Herbalife Company Undercover Investigation
Herbalife is a company known for it's weightloss shakes and other diet suppliments. The products are sold through the company's independent distributors. Their reps are in the hundreds of thousands. And business is BOOMING! Most of the people who are customers are also sales representatives. Without trying too hard, I can think of over 10 of my family, friends, and associates who sell Herbalife and have tried to get me to buy at least once. Many people are willing to jump in on this bandwagon because the company makes it so easy to sell it and make their own money. If you sign up and buy it online, you can also sell it!
There is an array of opinions about this company's products and marketing strategies. They range from high praises to calling it a pyramid scheme. Well is it just a sinister, dishonest prymid scheme? ABC News did an investigation on this fast growing company!
Herbalife independent representatives are coaxed to use their personal life stories to sell the products. Even though many of the stories actually took place way before the reps even touched the products themselves, it doesn't stop many of them from using it to make the sale. There are always opportinities to make a story relevant to your cause, if you have finesse. LOL!
According to ABC News, Herbalife currently remains "under a court order from the 1980's not to make false or misleading representations about the product's health benefits." The company claims that they tell their reps not to make any health claims of the products, especially not in order to sell them. Yet when ABC News approached multiple different representatives, recorded footage of their outlandish claims that the Herbalife products had grande medicinal abilities. One rep even told a story of a woman who had an incurable form of brain cancer, saying that she had started using the products and that "whatever it is that is in it really helped her".
Hmmm... Ok...
Yes, I agree that this is pretty messed up, but I can't judge the whole company based on it's independent reps. As I have learned from selling Avon, Empower Network, and Doba products, when a person signs up to sell, they are also creating their OWN business and aren't employed at all by the company. The company just gives the rep permission to sell their products with the understanding that the rep only makes a certain percentage of the revenue. Not all independent reps are the same. Believe it or not, some do actually have souls...
Although, I don't think the company is TOTALLY to blame for this... I do believe that it is their responsibility to put a stop to it. If it is happening repeatedly, they need to take action. Clear up the misunderstandings. Band the people who shouldn't be selling from being reps. They have taken SOME action to correct problems in the past. Over 600 independent reps were disciplined just last year alone for making medical claims, 12 of which were stripped of their rankings. This is good, but it isn't nearly enough. Representatives are supposed to be just that, someone who represents the company. And what a Rep says should also reflect on the company.
If all of that wasn't bad enough...
Even though Herbalife said that their rules forbade it, ABC News revealed footage of training seminars for new recruits, where were being taught that Herbalife products helped in treating HEART DISEASE! They were being taught that it also treated headaches, anemia, and even helped a woman conceive a child! Which absolutely goes against the aforementioned court order... not to mention that is just morally wrong! Even if the representatives DO actually believed in these claims, though many of them know it is BULL$#!&, they can't guarantee it will help the next person's ailments. It gives people a false hope and many morons would choose to not go and see a doctor, instead deciding to rely on the Herbalife products alone.
From the information that I have been given, I don't believe that Herbalife the COMPANY is a scam... BUT, I do believe that some of Herbalife's representatives resort to scamming in order to sell their products. I don't have any problems with the products though... so far. Which is a good thing! Overall my suggestion: If you are interested in this company's products, make sure that the representitive you get your information from is trustworthy and truly knowledgeable about the company and it's products.
Until next time, my fellow Nutters!

Name Change Granted To WikiLeaks Case Soldier
Bradley Manning Dressed As Woman |
Bradley Manning, a former U.S. Soldier, convicted for leaking classified information to WikiLeaks, has been granted a name change. His name will change from Bradley to Chelsea Elizabeth Manning.
Manning says that he has desired to be a woman for most of his life, and that women are whom he identifies with most. He believes that he thinks and feels like a woman and wants to start working on his gender transformation as soon as possible... starting with hormonal therapy.
The military prison refuses to provide transgender medical treatment. They stated that they will continue to view and treat Manning as a man.
Back in 2010, Manning gave WikiLeaks, an anti-secrecy website, a large collection of classified files. They included diplomatic cables, battlefield accounts, and video footage from 2007 showing a gun-sight view of a U.S. Apache helicopter shooting at suspected Iraqi enemies, but killing a bunch of innocents in the process. [As stated by Reuters.com]
According to Manning, he just wanted America to know what was really going on in Iraq.
My thoughts on this???
While I do have my own religious views on homosexuality, I don't believe that people should be treated wrongly because of their sexual preference. What I'm going to say about this story is strictly based on my belief and need for logic.
First, putting my own beliefs on homosexuality aside, I don't understand why the military has such a big problem with homosexuality! It makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! If we as a country have accepted homosexuality completely... If we truly believe that it is "O.K.", not morally wrong, not a psychological disorder, and not a reason for hate crimes, then why is this major part of our government not totally on-board?
I just CAN'T STAND HYPOCRISY!!! And to me, this is hypocrisy.
If we are going to say something, then we need to follow through and do it! Our country tends to do a lot of talking with little follow through. This is just one example of this even bigger problem.
Since our country has established homosexuality as an unique yet normal mental development, and that there is nothing morally wrong with it, then Manning should have a right to medical treatment. And denying him this goes against his civil rights. It's bad enough that he was put away for exposing the garbage that the government tries to get away with! But now this too?! SMH...
On the other hand, I can also see the complications that can erupt from him changing genders in a prison setting. But no more complications that prisons have dealt with in the past... but then again, those situations happened in regular federal prison, not military prison. So, I can't be surprised that they won't support him, especially since they won't support their homosexual soldiers who have't been convicted of any crimes. They may also believe that his conviction stripped him of the rights to this "leisure", if they view it as such.
What are you're thoughts on this?

How To Make Money On A Viral Video
So... you have a video on a social media website that has gotten a lot of views, or at least you aim to. Wouldn't it be amazing to somehow turn those views into money? Everyday, we hear about vloggers and youtubers who have turned their vlogging into a career. How did they do it? Because lets face it, being well known and doing what you love is great... but getting paid to do it is AWESOME!
We are currently putting these plans into action, but I felt it was important to share the information with our fellow Nutters so that you can do it too!
Here are great ways to start turning your video views, or even blog views, into CASH!!!
#1 ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE
Youtube is like any other company, they want to make money... and they want to make money any way they can. And if your youtube video is seeing a lot of traffic they will want to partner with you. Youtubers who have A LOT of views are usually contacted by Youtube with an offer. Usually the offer involves them asking for your parnership and allowing them to place ads in your video or on the page. If you agree you'd start getting checks mailed to you monthly! You can make up to 50% of the revenue! The youtuber father, who recorded "David After Dentist", made over $100,000 from YouTube AD's alone!!!
#2 PROTECT YOUR VIDEO
Many people don't even think about this, but there are millions of video sharing websites out there... or more. Many of them get their videos by feed from the YouTube site... without permission. While, yeah, more people seeing your video may seem cool at first, you want to maintain FULL control over your videos... Especially if you are trying to get paid for them. If other companies are showing your videos and you don't even know that they exist, it is impossible to get paid for advertisement from them.
One way to protect your videos is by using a YouTube program called Content ID. This program allow video owners to block other people from using their videos and from making money off of the videos. This also makes it extremely hard for others to duplicate your videos and play it on their channels on Youtube.
#3 Create And Sell Merchandise
What are the things that make your video stand out? What phrases are recognizable, or have the potential to become the next mime? Take those things and market them!!! The more merchandise the better, I say! From mugs, to T-shirts, to hats, and more!
There are many websites online that allow you to sell their merchandise with your logo, images, or catchphrases on them.
Here are just a few of them:
www.cafepress.com - pick your choice of what to sell from loads and loads of merchandise available!
www.spreadshirt.com - Put your images or catchphrases on a t-shirt, jacket, even underwear and more!
www.zazzle.com - One of my faves! This site is similar to cafepress in that they offer A LOT of merchandise! But I find this one a lot more user friendly. I use this site myself to sell greeting cards! X-D
#4 Make TV Appearances As Much As Possible
Think of all the new viewers who will be introduced to your video if you make it to TV!!! Everyone watches television. Most of the youtubers who have made it to popular television shows, like The Ellen DeGeneres Show, have experienced a great increase in views directly following their appearances. Plus being on TV is always fun! Also, Shows like Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel Live! air viral videos on their shows on the regular. So even if your video hasn't become viral yet, it can't hurt to send them a link to your video, by email and/or even twitter. It just may end up on their show! Keep in mind that many shows will also pay you for your appearance as well.
#5 Make Sure You Are Ready For Fame!
Fame always sounds A LOT more enjoyable than it really is... Geez, just look at the Celebs we see everyday on TV! It is a crazy rollercoaster ride that you HAVE to be prepared for, because if you are not, it can handicap your every day life AND affect your life many years down the road after your 15 minutes of fame are up! I suggest you have a well thought out plan, and stick to it.
So... that's what I found out so far. I really hope this helped you out! I would love to know what you think about this topic! ... or what you think about our blog so far! Your comments are ALWAYS welcomed, and we need feedback so that we can continue to improve.
Oh! And don't forget to send in your questions! The best questions will be posted here on urnutters.blogspot.com! Please email your name, country, state/providence, and questions to: pureviewblog@gmail.com! We look forward to reading your emails!
'Til next time, fellow Nutters!

Bald Cartoons For Children With Cancer
We all know of children who have developed the very ugly disease called Cancer. But just because the disease is ugly doesn't mean that the children are... No, they are as beautiful as ever! And they deserve to feel beautiful and comfortable in the skin they are in.
TV has a large impact on how children view themselves and the rest of the world. It is like a window that feeds their imagination and helps mold their sense of "Self". Children long to be accepted by others, it's an important element in their mental development. But when a child has cancer, goes through chemo, and starts to look more and more different than the other children around them; they can start to feel discouraged, dejected, and ugly. They become afraid of being teased, taunted, and other negative treatments that come along with looking different than others.
The cancer advocacy group GRAACC has partnered with multiple cartoon companies to create Bald Cartoons! Bald Cartoons has taken many of the famous, popular cartoons from around the world and shaved them BALD! Their goal was to allow children with cancer to see that they are not alone. Cartoons include Snoopy, Garfield, My Little Pony, Popeye, Potato Head, Hello Kitty, and MANY more!!!
At first, I over thought it too much. I thought: What if the children feel even more self conscious because of all the attention focused on their heads? But of course that was silly! When I saw how the children's faces lit up when they saw that their favorite cartoon character looked like them, it melted my heart. It was obvious that the cartoons affected them in a positive way!
Visit BaldCartoons.com to check them out for yourself... And to find out how YOU can be a part of this movement!!!
